Hunter Monday - Tennessee-Based Civil Engineering Technician
A resident of Tennessee, Hunter Monday works at Bluerock Engineering and Testing in Sevierville as a civil engineering technician. In this capacity, Hunter Monday undertakes concrete and soil testing, as well as field inspections for various geotechnical projects in East Tennessee and North Carolina.
His work with Bluerock Engineering and Testing has included soil classification for hospitality developments, rigid inclusion inspections in Maryville, and micropile inspections in Johnson City and Knoxville. Mr. Monday also served as a lead technician at The Retreat at Boone, a student housing complex in Boone, North Carolina. There, he coordinated work involving concrete and soil testing, MSE wall inspections, and soil nail wall inspections.
Before joining Bluerock Engineering and Testing, Hunter Monday served as a civil engineering technician at GEOServices LLC in Knoxville from 2023 through 2024. He gained experience with laboratory and field testing of soils and concrete for projects throughout East Tennessee. Earlier, Mr. Monday worked in customer support at The Dugout Sports Cards in Pigeon Forge, where he focused on cataloging and sales.
Hunter Monday is certified as an ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician Grade 1 and holds Fundamentals of TNEPSC Level 1 Certified Personnel and nuclear density gauge certifications. He completed coursework in engineering technology at Walters State Community College and in pre-med and biology at Maryville College. Mr. Monday has also volunteered as a youth baseball coach and supports community initiatives in East Tennessee.
